Apple Valley, CA. One of the original founders, Helmut
is responsible for the "Inland Empire" which encompasses
southeastern CA and includes the Maquiladora area of
Mexico and Arizona.
Helmut, born near Salzburg, Austria, joined Siemens-Austria
in 1972 as controls engineer to design and build Simatic
One Control System for Cincinnati Molding Machines.
He joined Battenfeld in 1976, relocated with Battenfeld
to Chicago in 1977, and remained there until 1981. Helmut
worked as a plant engineer and production manager from
1981 to 1984 before joining Wespec later that year.
Helmut has been in the plastic industry 29 years.
Ron’s is one of the founders of Wespec and has been President for over 15 years. His focus has been on extrusion and has done over 250 installations in California and Nevada. These applications run from Medical, Electronic, Irrigation, Packaging and Construction as well as many Specialty Systems. Ron is a Graduate of Kent State University and has over 25 years of experience in the Plastics Industry. Some 10 years ago Wespec made a conscious decision to support clients by Process instead of the usual geographical territories. In this era of limit staffing Manufacturers rely on their vendors for support and in order to accomplish this territory Reps must be technically knowledgeable to be able to “value added” and support their clients.
Gabriel Torres has been involved in the Southern California plastics market since 1980. Having started his career in plastics as National Sales Manager for Zip Aerosol Company a manufacturer of specialty chemicals for the plastics industry, Torres went on in 1989 to establish his own distribution business marketing plastics resins, specialty chemicals and additives to the plastics processors of Southern California, Arizona and Mexican border towns. In 1994 he expanded his distributing company to include a manufacturer’s representative agency for the sales and distribution of plastics injection machines and auxiliaries from Japan and Europe. Today he is glad to be able to contribute his experience and be part of the Wespec Team of professionals.
Martin Campbell lists a wealth of expertise with over 23 years in the Plastics Industry and is recognized as an industry leader in the field of Injection molding process technology, structural foam molding, plastic manufacturing engineering, and injection molding optimization. Among his credits are: Operations Management, Technical Team Leader, Plant Management, CSUF certified Six Sigma, Green Belt, Program Support for Cerritos College Plastics Manufacturing Technology. Martin holds certificates in RJG Systematic Molding, GE Polymerland, Employers Group “Management Development”, and SPI “Machine Safety and Training Techniques;” as well as Plastic Manufacturing Technology and Tooling for Plastics from Cerritos College Technology Division.
Born in Vienna Austria, Peter immigrated to the US after completing his bachelor degree in engineering at the Tech University in Vienna, Austria. He has represented Nissei Molding machines for 10 years and has extensive experience including building Windsor injection molding machines in the U.S. under a license agreement from Germany. He also has managed engineering extrusion projects for Reifenhauser,
Kraus Maffi.

The company began in 1941 by specializing in hand operated laboratory
presses, but today has evolved into a major domestic US manufacturer
